after switching to a coilover set-up recently, i find myself with a little bit of an oversteer issue. the spring rates i'm using are 9 kg fr/ 7 kg rr. the car has stock hicas bars 25mm fr/ 21mm rr. my thoughts for solving the oversteer is either get the smaller non-hicas stock bar (15 mm iirc) or use some adjustable end links. i tried various tire psi and damper settings to no avail already.

ideas i seek are which would be the better option in your opinion.

Well, with 7kg [391 pound inch] rear springs a 21 mm rear bar is not much [something like 60 pound per inch].........the bar is almost not there [<15% of total rear stiffnes if solidly mounted and coupled to suspension] because the springs are so stiff.

With your springs 3+ X stiffer than oem.......softer rear springs is the usual answer........letting the rear bar do 33-40% of the work not less than 15%.

Not knowing how much and when oversteer occurs guess you could try a 16 mm rear bar but that would just change [reduce] rear stiffness by ~~10%. And shift roll couple ratio to front by 4.5%

Softer rear springs would be better for traction wheel hop.........what shocks?

k-sport coils. i had considered switching to a lower rate spring for the rear, but i dont want the rates to get too large of a spread between the fronts and rears. ie i dont want to have to buy new front and rear springs.

and i gave wrong info up there. its 7 kg fr and 5 kg rear. i have an extra set of 9's collecting dust.
