Just acquired my first Infiniti 2003, Q-45 Maintenance CD speaks of draining the transmission. I can't find anything in the maintenance schedule about replacing the filter & gasket at 90,000 miles, is it recommended? Thanks, MS

According to Alldata's information it is not required in the normal service schedule. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea though.

Ben, thank you very much. What prompted my question was over the years, every 30,000 miles I would replace the filter and gaskets on my 1981 T-Bird and my 1985 Crown Victoria. I still do it on them.

No problem, that's what we are here for.

And changing the fluid is a whole lot cheaper than a transmission!
