Pyroil Penetrating Oil?

Okay so my dad picked up a spray can of Pyroil Penetrating Oil for his truck, and I was reading the label where it says "dries wet ignitions". Is this true? Can I spray this stuff on my distributor (not soak, just a wipe down maybe) to keep moisture away? Will it harm the distributor in any way? I figure this stuff is like good old WD-40, but I've never heard of the ignition reference.

if you have moisture in your ignition then you have other probs that need to be looked at- Band-aids are never a good route-
