is there anything different in this swap? were pulling it out of my friends s13 and putting it into his new s14. just curious if everything will work out right, like putting it in the s13. i heard the wiring is different however.. i did search, and found nothing. thanks.

Instead of the wiring being near the fusebox in the engine compartment its under the dash on the F3 plug, pretty simple stuff. There some good links around, search and you shall find thee.
