Putting manual cranks back on 2014 note

I was able to get the cranks off my 2014 note for new speakers but for the life of me I can't get them back on. Are there any tips on how to get it back on?

According to the FSM, they're typical window cranks and use a spring clip. Did you loose the spring clips?
