Ive got the engine sitting in the car and it is bolted down at both mounts and at the transmission mount. For some reason the engine is in crooked... If sitting in the car and look down in the shifter hole it is visibly tilted or crooked to the right. The Driver side mount is at its highest point and the passenger mount is at the lowest possible point. When i dropped the engine in i didnt tighten the engine mounts to the chassis because i thought it would need to be able to move around. Tomorrow im going to lift the engine up a little and put both mounts in the middle. Tourque to spec and then drop engine in and see if this aleviates my problem. Ideas?? HELP TECHNICIANS! i need to have the car running and turbo installed by friday!

leave the nuts slightly threaded and shift the motor around when it's back on the hoist. might wanna get a load leveler to make it a bit easier on you.

thanks for the replys. I do have a load leveler and i used many techniques like that to work. I went through my box of old goodies and found one s13 engine mount bracket and swapped it for the dr side bracket. This kinda made it a little more staight. I then tried to look for a pass side bracket with no luck. So i called my fav nissan dealer and found out that there are 2 part numbers for the mounts between s13 and s14 so i ordered another s13 mount. Its on backorder for 2 weeks. So tomorrow im going to hit up the local junk yards soo i can maybe finish this swap by fri. Thanks,~Sam
