ok so as some know i broke my little half moon off my exhaust cam. Anyway at work the master machanic i work with said that when i put it in i will adjust the valves any way i was looking and i don't think you can do that on a ca. I told him and he said he doubts that you would'nt be able to. I looked in the fsm and did'nt see anything i thought i would come on here and make an *** out of myself before i did anything else to make my car not run.

thanks guys brad

The little half moon is for the CAS basicly this part is use for the timing, a bit like a distributor, so if it's broke you need a new cam shaft, or have this little moon rewelded. Without it the car will never start again.

You can't adjust the valve on a stock CA, RB (excluding 26), or VG. They have maintence free hydrualic lifters. Some aftermarket cams require the use of solid lifters, but it doesn't sound like you have one of those cams.
