How hard would it be? I found a motor for $50.00 but the downside is the pistons has been taking out, all i really need is the head but i was thinking about just rebuilding this motor while everything is taken apart.

rebuilding a ka isn't hard... i did mine stock and it cost me around 1k to rebuild it back to stock... if ur looking for power in the long run i recommend that you go ahead a replace parts needed for ur future setup-- ie-- ka-t going w/ lower compression pistions..

i just got done having my ka rebuilt, except i swapped to an s14 head that was ported/polished/blah blah blah... anyways race prepared. i bought a complete running (as far as i know) s14 ka for the valve cover, timing cover, and aux timing gear. you can have it if you need it.

and if you need a head let me know. i have that s14 engine but its still all together and i wont part it out (yet) because i dont have the time or storage space. i got mad parts left over from my car and half of them are for s14.

lol you wont want to aim me on this one. i have played with my car before, and im still figuring crap out for myself. just because i took mine apart really doesnt mean im any more knowledgable than you. you might get ahold of djpants, he does crap like that on a daily basis.

now i regret getting rid of my other engine, i could have had a great project going :P

kitty was replaced because i found this gem at the top of the sr forums. (yeah i know im a traitor).

its the most hilarious thing i have seen since i signed up. btw the title of his post was "S14"

i DO have 2 sets of cam gears you can have, im pretty sure 2 intake cams would not work unless you could find a way to turn one to where it would function as an exhaust cam. not sure if its possible. never tried it.

but if you want my gears and upper chain its yours. there are some people that are asking about it but no ones picked it up or asked me to ship yet.

i have the ones that came off my 93 motor that have little to no wear and some aftermarkets that have never been used. the chain was on my engine but it never ran w/ that one on; i got another chain w/ my kit.

i swear i have the whole things in the boxes in the garage, lemme look for you before i say for sure. you need the bolts too?

hey man sorry i havent been around, my best friend passed away thursday and i have been dealing with everything over the weekend. the aftermarket cams im selling (actually giving away ) for $200.

if you need the oem cams, i would have to get them out of my engine right now, as that is the only set i have. and i wont be able to do that for a long while. all the other stuff is just kind of chilling in a box right now.
