Hello there I am getting ready to put a turbo on my 99 maxima and I was told to put a z32 MAF on it because it reads a higher amount of air flow. ok my question here is once I buy one will it fit directly and hook straight up to my car? will I have to modify and re wire it? will it be compatabile with my ecu or will I have to get my ecu recalibrated? Just trying to get all the odds and ends taken care of before I do the install ment of the system.

Installing a turbo will make you in violation of Federal Clean Air Act, besides MAF, injectors, fuel system, you will need an ecu that can have software writen to match new system.Unlikely that transmission will survive power boost with out mods.

A MAJOR expensive undertaking if done correctly for longevity!

Yes I have already looking into the injectors also. I am trying to find some close by that can handle remapping my ecu for me. I am just trying to find out some information about getting the z32 maf hooked up porperly if it can be done at all. Federal Violation huh? now why wouldn't the company that sold me my turbo system tell me that up front? Thank you for your time and information.
