putting a kade auto into a manual

sorry if this has been posted before ( dont have much time at work and cant really look for the thread ) but what would i need to swap a motor from a automatic trans into a manual trans? i have a automatic 1993 kade and i want to swap into my 92 manual shell ( blew a piston head and dont have the money for a rebuild ) would it just be a plug and play or would i have to do some ECU work or what? tell me what you know please,

The automatic ECU will work, you just won't have a rev limiter or a speed limiter. You will need to source a clutch pedal assembly, clutch master cylinder, clutch hardline, and possibly a slave cylinder if your transmission doesn't have one on it. That write-up should cover most of the basics.

Hey I just finished doing my swap, and a very useful tip that isn't mentioned much anywhere: If you place a jack under the motor (i.e. on the oil pan) and then remove the 4 bolts that hold the engine cross member to the frame, you'll get about an extra 4 inches or so that will make it a million times easier to get to the top of the bell housing. Trust me this will really save you a lot of time and frustration!

Placing a jack on an oil pan has BAD written all over it..

Not if you use a flat jack or have a board under it. I used a transmission jack. The pressure will be evenly distributed.
