Hi i have a 370z left hand drive. Need to put it through the IVA Test. Need to know my 2009 model headlights are aiming straight, and i wonder if anyone knows if this will pass the test or not. The requirement says have to aim left but my car is aiming straight. Can anyone help me.

Welcome to NICO! :badger

Here's a link to the factory service manual (FSM) for the 2009 370Z. I recommend downloading the entire maual to have as reference, but the part that addresses your immediate concern is: EXL (Exterior Lighting). I don't know what the standards are in the UK so you may need to check into that, but page 158 has the "target area", for lack of a better term, of the headlight beams, and page 157 has the procedure for adjusting the beams.

Good luck with the test! Post some pics of your Zed when you can! :) There aren't too many 370Z owners on here yet.

Where in the UK are you?

Thank you for the link. Will have a read and hopefully adjusting the beam to aim down, this should be sufficient to pass the test.
I will post photos of 370z it is Blue 2009 model. 2 door coupe hardtop. Don't like the, convertibles.
I stay in Arbroath, Scotland. Thank you for your help, what kind of car do you have?

Ah, I love Scotland! But of course I do...look at my sig. :) The only problem with where I live now is finding a Robert Burns Day celebration - it was never a problem when I was in Chicago.

My Z is a 2005 35th Anniversary model.
