Putting 2010 A/C bose Head Unit into 2008 A/C W/ Bose*Help

Hello guys, I have a 2010 Altima Coupe Bose Head Unit that I would like to put in my 2008 Altima Coupe with the Bose system. This is not the navigation unit but the unit with the 4.3 inch screen. When I installed it, I noticed all the cables hooked up except one. So I put it all together to see what the cable that didnt fit correctly in controlled. It turns out the cable that didn't fit was the one that puts the sound out to the speakers. Everything else worked great though, even my steering wheel controls. I turned the nob to turn the volume up and still no sound. I tried with a CD and it had no output of sound. My question is, is it possible for me to get a cable or some type of converter to allow the speaker cable to work and plug into the 2010 head unit? Thanks and all help is greatly appreciated.

What color is it? If its just one cable from the harness then the pin configuration is off from the two models. Pics will help. Im not sure by one cable you mean one entire harness or one individual strand of wire? If its one individual strand of wire and you are getting NO sound at all then the entire pin configuration is off. Each speaker requires 2 strands of wire for a total of 8.

Do you have a backup camera? Perhaps you might have swapped wires? There should be an extra as the 2010 bose units have an input for a backup camera (IIRC, the 08s do not have wiring in place for a backup camera)... I'm not sure what it looks like back there or how similar they look, but just a thought.

Hey there did anyone have any luck with this my friend gave me his 2010 head unit but of course no sound looks so much better tho Damm I want it to work
