Put up Power window Manually?

My power window motor seems to be out for the second time this summer. Of course, it's stuck down. I don't have the time or money at the moment to fix it soo i need to get it up. I have the door panel off, now what do i do? I try to push it up but nothing...PLEASE HELP. I'm going out of town in 2 days and my dad needs to use my car sooo it has to be up. Thanks. well you can unbolt the window from the regulator and push it up all the way... then lodge somethingbetween it and the window track to keep it up... that what i do at work to keep windows up after ordering parts for them.... it is no way a permanent solution, but it should work

oh and i forgot.... sometimes when the motors go out you can hit them with a hammer while using the switch, and they will work again.... sounds stupid but try it, its because the motor has a bad spot on the windings and it just gets stuck there... a couple whacks and you could get it working again.
