humm, a little more than flush. Front 15x8 +25

Rears are perfect. 15x8 +08

I know everyone wants me to slam it, and the front is going down about 1 inch still the rear is staying pretty much the same. I took the front wheels off and played with the coils. Can you adjust the ride height withought taking those 2 bolts off (behind the dust sheild in pic) and screwing that whole lower silver part higher. I thought you could adjust height without taking anything off but the wheel (just by turning the silver ring perches with the tool, but that seems to only control spring preload)

I rolled the rear as a precaution. But after having it slammed so low i couldn't get 4 fingers under the frame rail, i had it put back up. I scraped on EVERYTHING.

PS, i rolled those fenders with only a rubber mallet.

Make the top1/2 2 lock up against each other tight. Then of course loosen the bottom 3rd perch. Grab the spanner wrench and turn the lower 2nd perch this will make it go up and down(clockwise/counterclockwise) It will start to get easy when lowering(you can use your hand after a while)

*do yourself a favor and use lithium grease or good amount of wd40 on bottom threads. coils tend to seize on the lower collar my buddies was locked hard broke spanner wrench. Beat it down got it loose finally..mine same case got stuck..used a punch/hammer at the bottom collar as the grooves started to strip.

Also nice rims!!

Your wheels look good. Those rear wheel wells look really good, though.

Thanks dude this was the part i was missing. No wonder i couldn't get them to go anywhere.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. At 1st I wasn't keen on the gold, and i was going to paint them bronze. But after putting them on the car (and wrapping them in some Toyo Proxes RA1's) They look so right for the car that i'm not touching them.

you couldve avoided pulling the rear fender, just a roll wouldve been fine...did you roll the fronts yet?

fronts need more negative camber, they look like theyve got positive right now...thatll tuck them in too

Going lower is overrated. Don't listen to them, I say go higher. Be original and have a 180sx monster truck. RAWR!

I must agree. If you run 15's then you MUST have it slammed. If not then 16's are required

195;s on an 8 inch rim? I don't like streched tires, plus that would really throw off my rolling diameter I ball differently than you.
Timeless240 wrote:PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me exactly how you rolled your fender so evenly with a rubber mallet!
Is your body metal rust free? Then you just clean it and heat it, pound the lip until rolled, and then pound on the body until you have the desired flare is reached. (don't hold the heat gun in 1 place too long, you will bubble the paint)
nismofly wrote:it really does suck that those only come in 15s
I thought that at 1st but i love the way they look now. It is exactly the look i am going for: old skool, fat tire.
