Nah,definetely no black or blue smoke. its not thick white either. its the normal smoke ,it just doesnt come out the exhaust smooth. The best way i can describe it,is if somebody is blowing out smoke real fast instead of 1 breath. (i knowthat sound crazy)maxnix wrote:Sorry, but really can't tell by your description. Black smoke? Blue smoke? White water vapor? We can't tell.
If it's shaking, why don't you ohm your injectors ans do a power balance test?
Got a digital voltmeter? Ohm your injectors and let us know the results.vgeezy31885 wrote:......just has avery slight rough idle and shakes until is has warmed up and driven for like 10 min. But if u stop and start back up, the car start harlem shaking again
the engine light came on a littl while ago and it was driving terrible. I took it to mr-tire and got the fuel injection cleaning done and the light hasnt come on since. We havent driven it in about a month so i dont know if i just need to give it a chance or what? Ill try to find a voltmeter to do the test.P.S. Where is the MAF sensor so i can check that?goody94q45 wrote:

The MAF is attached to the air box (air filter) but don't worry about it for now.vgeezy31885 wrote:We haven't driven it in about a month so i dont know if i just need to give it a chance or what? Ill try to find a voltmeter to do the test. P.S. Where is the MAF sensor so i can check that?

Cleaning the injectors ensures that they flow properly but checking the resistance verifies that they are operating (opening and closing in sync) electrically. Two different beasts. From the description of your problems it sounds like injectors.
Buy a voltmeter or phone a friend and follow the instructions in the link posted above. It's a really simple test that shouldn't take more than 10 minutes and requires no tools other than the voltmeter. Ohm your knock sensors while you're there just for fun. It's the plug next to the FI plug. Good luck.
