Put my key through the washing machine

Hey guys I have a slight problem, i just accidentally washed my key along with my pants and then put it through the drier, it still locks and unlocks the car but im afraid it might mess up the key what do you guys suggest i do?

So the fob still locks and unlocs the car right? how about starting...does it start when you get in the car with the fob and push the button?

If you are thinking the key warped in the dryer I doubt it.

just use your spare key fob

If it works, then you're golden. If you're concerned there may be moisture inside, pop off the battery cover and stick the fob in a bowl of rice (uncooked!) and use your spare for a day or two.
