i got fuel and spark and it's cranking.

everything is swapped over from the 89.

could it be a sensor not plugged in?

the wires to the transmission are cut and spliced, do any of those have to be correct?

i can't figure this out, it cranks and there is spark and fuel.

it should run, so i don't wanna go to the trouble of swapping fuel rails.

i can't think of any other reason though

Try fiddling with the distributor by about 180 degrees.

Also, why are you putting a KA24E into a 93?

the 89 is a coupe and in good shape, the 93 fb is ....not perfect. the sohc is pretty clean, should run great.

the sr20de i had in the 93 is going into the 89, after i get parts.one day it will be a silvia k'sfor now i need to get this 93 running to get around.

i didn't think that an engine could be so out of time that it wouldn't run, i'll try that though and also i'll take off the oilcap and hopfully see the lifters move, this should tell me if the timing chain is broke or not, right?
