put it on the diagnostic today and threw a 32..whats an easy fix....

i just put about 800 not including pickin the car up for 1650 but good price the deal is im broke until about the middle of the month and want to know if there is a easy solution without havin to spend a lot thanks and hopefully this isnt a dumb question i kow it doesnt really effect the car just want that light to go out

looks like egr code, from other post,... that can be a rough one.. usualy the egr gets cloged by carbon buildup. it sux iknow. my brothers maxima took bout 2-3 hours jus to clean out egr tubes. i took it apart tho, its posalble to try some of the fuel addatives. i never have tho. use a bunck of carb/throttle cleanner. ry to spray at the egr ports through throttle body.

another reason could be jus cause the egr is stuck on my 93 mazda the valve just rusted and got stuck open , that causes the car to have a vaccum leak prob and runs like poo.. tries to stall at idle need to hold gas down. i dont think u have that prob. stick ur finger in the egr and try to move the diaphram if its stuck time for a new egr. if it moves u gotta clean the carbon
