anyone tried this?

I did my q45 brake upgrade on the front and now I am left with front pads, rotors, and caliper....

....

it might fit on the rear... anyone tried it? there might be some clearance issue with the control arm but just wondering if anyone tried it yet?

Who needs an e-brake? For all that emergency parking you do?

lmao. Well you don't want to lay on your transmission on a hill.

I must be really slow because I don't seem to understand... are you saying that the ebrake cable is directly connected to the rear caliper so that when the ebrake is engage the pads pull toward the rotor, bypassing the needed pressure from the brake line?

Thats why you have to turn the piston in the rear caliper.. to back it off.. the ebrake engages it

If you park your car on a hill without an ebrake and leave it in gear, its gonna roll.

actually, if you leave your car in gear w/o an ebrake, it wont roll. Go try it. You obviously have never don eit before.

Actually, it will. I can put it in gear and push on it and the thing will roll (I usually nudge it back and forth to turn the fan clutch so I can unbolt it... all that stupid shroud stuff is a pain to take off and put back on)... it takes little effort on level ground to move it.. put your car in gear w/o the ebrake engaged on a hill and let me know what happens.

Hey loveless... just carry a big rock in the back of your car and stick it behind the back tire... or get one of those boots the bastard parking fairys use and lock her up ;)

Are the calipers from the rear of the Q better than the 240SX rear ones?

IF your parking on a hill all you have to do is turn the front tires until they make contact with the curb......boom! How is your car going to move now? Magically roll over the curb while your gone? And if it did, the steering wheel will be locked so it would magically roll in a tight circle, blocking just a little bit of the street.....magically.

Damnit people! Im just trying to prove a point.. if the vehicle is on a hill in gear and the ebrake is not on it will roll... ;)

But yeah another hill would be good.. ;)

I don't know but I think the the q45 is also dual piston instead of one for the rear

Fuzion, what your saying make scents. If it were true that you didnt need a e-brake they why do ALL car have them? Plus have an e-break make thing more fun in emtpy parking lots.
