A bit under $3k. More than what I would like to have paid, but seriously, the paint on the front bumper isn't even faded! The car comes with a small binder full of service info. The 2 previous owners kept track of every oil change.Justin35ll wrote:Looks nice, how much?
Basic suspension rebuild (maybe Teins, GR2s + bushings), Brake Upgrade (q45 + hawk pads), and some sticky rubber. After that....well, let me get those three taken care of first. Then I'll worry about the rest.simmode1 wrote:Nice! Plans for it?
I have a garage and a couple of semesters of autoshop under my belt (albeit a few years ago) I just need to get some more tools and I think I'm good to go.Justin35ll wrote:Sounds good man, hope you have a garage for it
You know what's funny? My current g/f rode in my 240 one time before I traded it. The day after I traded it, we had sex for the first time. Hahahaha!sommmatt wrote:Time for the obligatory...
Get some nice wheels and slam it!
Pull the black electrical tape off, and make sure there's no rust under those mudflaps. That will make the car look way less 80's and more modern. Almost something a girl would step into!

What is it with 240 owners putting electrical tape on the car? Is it supposed to be trim/body molding? I think it's pretty stupid. I pulled mine off when I was sanding the sil40. Does it serve a purpose?sommmatt wrote:Pull the black electrical tape off
Heh, funny thing is Nissan sold'em that way from the factory. They're called "stripes".AZ89two4Tsx wrote:What is it with 240 owners putting electrical tape on the car? Wheels? Eventually. You can get some decent performance rubber to fit the stockers, and I think that will hold me for awhile. Slam it? Not on the roads near my house. There is one intersection I hafta drive through every day that actually has 2 parallel grooves in the pavement from all the framerails that have gotten ground into it.sommatt wrote:Get some nice wheels and slam it!
