i lost my previous NICO account, but now im back

now to my questoin which i hope can be answered. whenever i come to

a stop my car would stay at around 1k and then go its normal idle. knew that wasnt normal so i read up on this site and others and figured out that i need to clean my IACV.

i dont really have all the tools to take the IACV off. so i read that you could spray carb cleaner through the pipe and that would clean alot of the dirt. well i did this once with a little bit of carb cleaner to see what would happen. it looked like it did a little something, so then a couple days later i sprayed a lot more and tried to start the car and thats when it quit. for the last couple of days vie tired to start it and no luck.

i cleaned my injectors. check to see if i flooded the engine with fuel and some other things which didnt help. i check for codes and its reading 55 (everything ok)

only thing happening now is when i try to start the car it slowly goes down like theres no power. im really pissed and tired at the moment so any help would be appreciated greatly. i really dont want to sell this car

When the motor is cold, the idle speed should be around 1200 RPM. After a few minutes it should drop down to 700.

In your case, it looks like the excessive spraying caused more plugging. You need to remove the IACV and thoroughly clean it.

what year is your 240? i have a thread for 91-94 iacv in my signature. your air regulator should give you lots of air when you are starting even if iacv is clogged.
