depends on clutch and tires. wheel hop will kill your axles

yea nice scarface video, but that doesn't quite answer my question. i want statistics of people that have a setup similar or identical to mine.

I snapped both axles shifting from 1st to 2nd in a burnout. I attribute rough concrete and me dropping the clutch at redline.

That was when my RB was pushing 280hp at the wheels tops.

Many variables will contribute to breaking axles, if you take care of them, you should be able to put alot of power to the ground.

Oh, and I do have some wheel hop too, so that's not gonna help at all.

Most datsun guys (I was one) still run the U joint rear axles. They blow apart if you look at them funny.

The popular swap is a CV axle with an adapter.

thats about what im sitting at (275rwhp), so far so good! i beat on it everyday! but with street tires, im sure a set of slicks it would prob. be death to the axles ( with my daily driver )

its usually the wheel hop that kills axles at that low of a power output. welded differentials wont help either. thats what has killed most of the local 240 axles, but it has also killed a set of DSS axles locally as well, so try to get rid of the wheelhop and you should be able to put out quite a bit more than that.
