No actually I used to see a lot of this, working at an accessory store, I took tint off and redid it everyday. The ammonia in the cleaner is one of the things that makes it bubble up and foggy. No matter what kind of tint it is, it will fade to a purple, just depends how long. And to remove the tint, just get some stainless steel razor blades, peel back the tint and pull, then wet down the window and razor blade all of the adhesive off, this is the quickest and easiest way to do side windows, oh and stainless steel will not scratch glass, so as long as it is a new blade, don't have any worries about scratching the glass. But yes, you can't scrape over the defrost lines, it will mess em up, just pull it off like you did the sides, get a scrub pad, put some goof off on it, and go to town! :ylsuper
