Here's an aesthetics-related question for coupe owners:

Do they hang the front license plate or do they follow in the footsteps of 350Z owners and leave the front bare?

I would guess it depends on where you live.In Canada there are some provinces that require plates front and back, and others that only require a plate on the back.I would assume in the U.S it would be the same thing, i.e. it differs from state to state, yes?

Yes, it does vary from state to state. However, that does not stop some people from trying to go around the law.

Personally, I think it looks much better without the front plate. Now if only there were an easy way to get rid of those drilled holes...

The front plate law varies from state to state. Here in CT it is strictly enforced. the few Coupes that I saw at the dealer when I bought mine had the front plate with the dealer frame already on there. I of course took mine off and the holes aren't that noticeable because I have black Check your state laws if your concerned about it.

In TN we don't use the front plate, so we found the bracket in the glove box with the rest of the manuals, etc.

I am buying my coupe (special order) from a dealer in NY (which has front license plates). But I live in PA (no front plate). And all the coupes they had sitting on the lot had the front bracket already installed.

I specifically asked them to make sure they don't put the front plate on when the car comes in. I hope to god that they don't put it on.

Here is the direct link to the front plate hole fix. zxe10 posted a link to a link of it. Figured I'd make it easier to get to

Here in Texas the front plate is required by law but generally the law isn't enforced.

Even the dealers will leave it off by request. I have mine in my garage along with the front plate.
