Hey guys,

So i thought i was decided on the Nismo exhaust, but now i'm not sure if the Greddy would be a better choice? Its for my 3.5 coupe

Can anyone tell me, from experience, how loud both are? I've heard the nismo is louder and some say the Greddy is louder. I'm lookin for somethin aggressive sounding but not overly ricey. I've listened to the youtube clips, but i'm not sure those are accurate sound clips. I guess you have to be there in person to listen to them. Seems to me that the Greddy is louder?

Also, is there any advantage to having a dual muffler like the TiC? i understand this may be heavier than the stock set up? The nismo is a single muffler with dual pipes. What is the best performance set up?

My apologies if these questions have been previously addressed, but i could find anythin specific in my thread searches. Thanks in advance.

I've heard the nismo in person but the greddy only online and by word of mouth.

Nismo is a nice tone, but not over the top.Greddy TiC is way loud. Just ask the folks that are selling it. However, if you check the performance area, you'll note that Greddy is releasing a new model exhaust thats slightly milder sounding.

nismo sounds like stock to me. i did hear it on a 2.5 though so idk. the greddy is loud but i dont mind much since i dont drive far a lot. i did drive 200 miles last week and it was really really really really annoying haha. i almost put in the silencers when i got home but decided not to. the greddy will get attention for sure but im not gonna like looks like rice. i dont really care because im asian and love rice lol. when installing the mufflers it didnt feel as heavy as the stock muffler. that thing is thick. the greddy piping is like almost 2.5" and the mufflers seem like they'd let a lot of exhaust gases by really easily. and i think the greddy is loudest exhaust by far except the borla cat back but i dont think they sell that just the axle back. anyways hope this helps.

I've been looking into these for my 3.5 as well, I think I have decided on going with the Nismo. Only problem is, the cheapest I can find it for is $917 shipped. Damn that is a lot of money for an exhaust. Does anybody here happen to know anywhere to get it cheaper? That price is from Lee's Auto Parts, same price on the website and on eBay, but he has a shipping quote on eBay.

I HAVE THE GREDDY TI-C RACING EXHAUST AND WITH THE SILENCERS TAKEN OFF IT SOUNDS AGGRESSIVE LOUD SOUND. WHEN I FIRST GOT THE EXHAUST, IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO GET USED TO THE LOUD SOUND REVING UP THE ENGINE. BUT AFTER A WHILE IT BREKS IN REAL GOOD AND SOUNDS LOVELY. IT'S WORTH THE MONEY. IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO HEAR YOU COMING, TAKE THE SILENCERS OFF TO GET THE TRUE SOUND.
