so he's cranking and getting no spark, or fuel I suppose, anyhow, a good idea is to go ahead and do a compression test, know what shape the engine is in, assuming you get good consistand readings, I'd open the float bolws on the carbs, and drain and clean them, make sure fuel pours out the hose at the bottom with ease, a lot of times the float deteriorates and it's pieces clog taht tiny hole, next I'd make sure that you are in fact pumping fuel when the engine cranks, it should pulse out as the engine cranks, the pump diaphram could have gone bad and it simply might not be pumping, thats should put a pretty good handle on the fuel situation, next check for spark at the flug, well first of all, buy a cheap set of new plugs, then check for spark, place one plug in the wire on the intake or something metal while cranking, look for a spark, let us know how these simple itmes work out for you and we'll take it form there

I had a car that sat for 10 years. A little new gas and she started right up.... and the engine just took off, revved up to 6k an instant. Turns out the rear carb was stuck at WOT, qwuick tap with a hammer fixed that, had to do the same thing on the fuel bowl as the float was also stuck.

Evildky's advice is definately good advice to follow.

If the tard making this post ever gets around to buying it and fixing it up, he will have a 73 for sale some time in the future.
