Hi everybody, I'm about to head down to the dealership tomorrow to (hopefully) buy a used 2003 G35 6spd manual. I'm just wondering if there's anything I should look for in particular as far as interior/exterior/engine bay to ensure it's reliability? It has about 60k miles and is priced at $18,000. I don't really have much experience with this so any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks in advanced

Well, the 2003 and 04 model years were the first 2 years for the G, so the problems that were found in those models were fixed as time progressed. So personally I would say look into 05+. For 03 though, make sure the CD player works. If it has Brembo brakes, they will wear quickly and have large amounts of brake dust. Engine bay will be a little more difficult.

Welcome to NICO

DON'T!

Too many problems with the 2003'sGet a Civic in the meantime

Invest the $18k in a very broad based stock fund ie Russell 1000 or Russell 2000!Once Bush is gone, perhaps peace in the mideast & Iraq, falling oil prices, housing recovers, you should be able to sell & afford a brand new one?

Buy low, sell high, don't worry, be happy

Results not guaranteed, do your own due diligence!

Oh, one more thing!

I assume with the big bucks you are earning your 401K & IRA are fully funded, you have 6 months emergency cash in the bank, & if still living at home you pay mom & dad rent each month as well as all the money you've borrowed and never paid back?
