If it were my car it would be hard to let go. Due to the current market values of Z32 thats very deep in upgrades to take anything but a HUGE loss to the seller :yesnod Thats easy 10-15k in upgrades and maintenance depending on if the work was done himself or not. Thats on top of whatever body work was done. How much were they asking for it if you don't mind me asking.

One thing for you to keep in mind is thats going to be a high maintenance car. Unless you plan on doing the work yourself plan to spend big money in a shop if something is to go wrong with it. The regular maintence intervals of stock zs are every 60k miles a modified Z like that that you haven't had your hands in yourself there is no telling what will go bad when it will go bad if it will go bad. Buyer beware.

6k is very cheap based on the list of upgrades you have. Just swaping a engine alone can cost 6k easily. So you need to think about it that sounds really too good to be true to me. Stock TTs in great condition go for 6k or more depending on condition. "Excellent" condition, collectors value low original millage is anywhere from 8-12k All depending on condition.

I guess the thing is the z32 is over engineered. You have to take like 5-10 things apart somethings just to fix 1 thing. Having to pull the engine out of the car.. Sometimes you have to pull the engine out of the car lol just to fix something with a TT. Like if your turbos go bad you're having to pull the engine out lol

Ya man Im just trying to get you to think. When I heard 6k that seemed low to me. Like that he is just trying to get rid of it kinda price almost given the amount of money thats into it. Ya its kinda scary. But you can probably part it out and get your money back.. You know what you are getting into now Its an awesome car that I'm sure you will love if you like it.

Buyer beware as stated above, the car you listed here would require a pretty knowledgeable Z32 guy to keep alive for more than a year or two, and as a student you will MORE than cringe when you get the bills for normal repairs and maintenance, prob pretty similar to the AMG. I purchased my '93 TT (my sig) for $8K+ which is about the going rate for a lower mileage stock, clean Z32 TT so as BlackWidowZ wrote, the pricing here makes one wonder.
Having been modded extensively as it has requires things to be just so, if not there will be trouble and that may be why this car is being sold.
Finding a quality, legitimate Z32 in your price range may take a year or two of hunting and require a trip to go get it, as it did for me, but is worth it in the long run because you really, REALLY don't want to get an abused Z or one ready for a s***-ton of maintenance.
