So I decided to give there products a try after watching MANY YouTube videos and reading there reviews! I'm really anxious to use there "Black" wax! That was pretty pricey and the most expensive wax I've purchased so hopefully it was worth it! Any of you guys use any of there products and if so, what did you all think? My next order will include either there leather and/ or striper scent :dblthumb:

I should have time to detail this week or weekend... I'll post before and after pictures once completed!

I've seen the vids as well and their products seem to work very well. I'm a die-hard Griot's Garage fan (see my car trolley in my pics, LOL). I believe it was Freddie who used Zaino products with great results. If nothing else, these companies have great DIY videos for technique and if you duplcate how they do it, you should get great results. Looking forward to the pics.

Yea def alot of great DIY videos! I've use Maguires everything typically in the past with good results. But more i kept looking into other higher end polishes and waxes (from maguires), i was convenced that I needed to purchase for the GREAT results. Owning a black car is awesome when clean but HELL to maintain!!! lol

Ive been using Chemical Guys for a couple years now, absolutely love their stuff! yeah they get mixed reviews and even trashed on some forums but over all i love the results and thats all that matters right? This is my M with about 70K on it, i polished with their V line of polishes (v34, v36, and v38) then their Jet Seal and topped with their 50/50 wax. I plan on using their SS6 after i give her the post winter polish and lower it. i have a small detailing biz and have used basically all of their products so feel free to discuss any concerns or questions about their line up with me!

I was on the fence with purchasing jet seal being that my cart was adding up $$$. Whats your take on it and how long does it last?

duragloss 105 + Aquawax will cost you maybe $25 together with shipping. Try it!

i believe if you apply it correctly with two thin layers you should have no trouble getting a year or so out of it, depending on how you wash and maintain. thats my go to lsp for customers who are trying to clean up their daily drivers. with a black car, a great product for you would be their black light. its a glaze/sealant so its not the greatest protection what ive done and it looks awesome is apply a coat or two of the blacklight then 2 coats of jetseal and it gives the car great 'pop' and protection!! i definitely recommend the jetseal regardless, gives a great finish and if you want a warmer finish when youre done you can top off with your favorite wax also.
side note, the jet seal works great on glass and all trim and chrome as well for protection, once on your windows theres no real need for wipers after about 45 mph in rain so thats a nice added touch.

Thanks for your feedback! Due to mothers day weekend, i wasn't able to get a chance to wash and wax my car so hopefully this coming up weekend! I'll check into those products and definitely jet seal!

Chemical Guys have an excellent selection of products but they're defintely overrated.

Well I hopefully will be finding out this weekend how there products rate of course in my opinion. Typically I've used maguiars products with decent results but not what I expect. So here i am with chemical guys car products anxious to try out! Plus getting the car lowered on Thursday so gives me more reason to polish her up!
