I am swapping the interior from a 1995 Q into my 1990. I want to make it so that the headrests and lumbar support on the seats function in my car without having to swap out the entire electrical harness. I was going to swap the door control switches to my doors but I found that the connector for the window switch was a different style. I also noticed that the connector for the other controls on the switch assembly would plug into my door harness connector without any problems but the wiring colors are in different orders and the newer control only has 7 wires going to it with 1 black wire I guess for ground while the older control has 8 with 2 black wires. Please help Thanks.

im not sure how that is going to work because the 94-96 Q had a different wiring scheme....

I think your in for a wiring nightmare. Personally I would just swap the 95 seat pads onto the earlier rails and be done........ Lot of work for stupid power headrests.. The lumbar you could probably make work pretty easy, should just be able to give it power.

Sounds like a step backwards, since the 1990 has better seats.
