Pumping Gas
I wanted to check with you all to determine if this is normal or not. Today I was filling up my 1999 Q45t at the pump. Well, you know when you keep pumping to get it super full, although it keeps stopping because it's full. I know this can cause gas to spill out the opening, but I noticed some leaking from under the car a brief moment. This is the first time I've experienced this and was wondering is it just a result of overfilling or did I uncover something wrong.

Well, you have a drain hose in the bib.
It's not a good practice. I know in Ford Contours when they are overfilled, it floods the charcoal cannister. Those are not cheap.

I call it quits after 2 clicks.. I put it on full throttle until it clicks, then go one more click for good measure.

Yep, and, I use my not insubstantial rump to rock car back and forth until that 2nd click!
