You're killin me here
Since its a non-US vehicle, I needed to lookup the recommended NGK plug and cross it over into Pulstar.
through 8/93 the RB25DE takes an NGK BCPR5EIX-11, which Pulstar says = BE-1
8/93-5/98 RB25DE, 8/93-5/98 RB25DET, 5/98-6/01 RB25DE use BKR5EIX-11, which Pulstar says = BE-1
5/98-6/01 RB25DET takes BKR6EIX-11, which Pulstar says = BE-1
So officially, you should be able to use BE-1, regardless of which model you have. Now you're wondering why Pulstar has 1 plug when NGK recommends 3 different plugs. Pulstar has a total of 5 skus. They therefore have very general specs to be able to cover so many apps. NGK, as with all regular spark plugs, have exact specs specifically for your engine: projected tips, exact gap settings, different heat ranges, different metal types, etc.
Pulstar's explanation on the technology is that the plug is so powerful and adaptable that it can adapt to remove the heat of an NGK plug ranging from 5-7, and can cover over all the other details and still outperform.
I will set a disclaimer that if you do have the Turbo model, or if you've performed mods that have added hp, they don't recommend you use their plugs.
