I just saw it in Road & Track. Has anyone heard of this? It claims to give more torque, hp, and fuel efficiency. Thoughts or is this just another turbonator-ish scam.

they spent a bit on their website, but i call bull****. 20,000 times more powerfull? on my mustang i did get a bit better performance on bosch plats, but a spark plug is only going to do so much. there claims boil down to aftermarket fuel rails, air intake, and ecu management, not spark plugs.

Hmm...yeah I liked the website but it still seems a bit fishy. Does anyone know if this kind of tech comes OEM on any luxury cars? The great thing is that if it does legitimately help it's pretty cheap: 25 beans.

+1.

having a spark 20,000 times stronger wont make the combustion 20,000 times stonger. all a spark plug has to do is to reliably start the combustion in a timely manner, and manufacturers got that down pretty well nowadays.

Im guessing you saw this posted on the 350Z forum. Some people were claiming such increases and others calling BS. I also came across some people saying that it burned through their cylinder heads.

I agree back in the day(carbs) MSD boxes and bigger coils helped because of alot of fueling issues in modded engines. Todays engines meter fuel/air and have fuel injection (mist fuel) so it's not really needed..maby in extreme forced induction but not in near stock form
