Anyone have these? Do they really do anything. They claim 5-6% gains infuel economy and more HP gain per $ than a Cat Back.

http://www.pulstar.com/

Interesting. I think $150 bucks is worth HP gain.....but somehowI doubt that it does that much.

They also list this on their website about not voiding warranties.

Q: Will the installation of Pulstar™ effect the warranty on my car?

A: No. The 1975 Magnuson Moss Act prevents a manufacturer from voiding a warranty based on a customer's selection of parts that the dealer does not offer.

Does that mean that I can put lowering springs, CAI, turbo...whatever...on mycar without voiding the warranty?

Your iridium plugs are suppose to last you 100k miles, and with new cars plustar doesn't make a difference you can feel, its more like 0.05 percent HP difference.

If you want to spend that money, spend it on some royal purple oil and you'd prob feel it run smoother.

I think it was addressed before, and was deemed smoke and mirrors...

Take it easy, you are getting ahead of yourself.

The lowering springs will void your strut warranty, but not your engine warranty. The same goes for the cai or turbo, they wont void your brake warranty, but they will void your engine warranty.

This is the link to that 350z they dyno'd and found a 10.4 HP and 7.2f/lb torque increase.

For 100-150? If that's real it seems worth it.

Im with Lbc on this one. No way would they get 10hp.

Im talking out my arse here but, our car does not have an upgradable ignition/distributor.

If you were to upgrade everything that is involved there, spark plugs, wires, ignition, and what ever else is involved. You would get about 10 hp. No way spark plugs are gonna make that big of a differense.

That is not true, they DID get 10 HP...but if you read into it, you can see how they "calculated" that.

I will start by saying I have every women. I will qualify that statement by saying my wife is the only women for me. See...word smith...

ANYWAY...they took an Average of 5 runs for the 350Z, came up with 240...then took the BEST of 5 runs with the new plugs and got 250. What about the other 4 runs? What was the average of the 5 runs? They don't say...they don't want us to know...What was the HIGH of the stock runs?

I can see what they are saying where these would help, and in principal they would. But to come up with 10 HP and justify it...I don't like the company with that strategy they just laid out...

When something works, people will talk about it... I dont like spending lots of money on stuff when people mention it, and "snake oil" in the same sentence...

Do more HW... then take the plunge if you like, and report back to us!
