I removed my hood latch support bar a long time ago for my funky intake setup. I no longer have it like that and apparently dont have the support bar anymore. I assume livelyjay, you might have a spare?

I'm going to have to cut up my radiator support soon and customize the hell out it because my T28 is bigger and slams my radiator :( so i will need the reinforcement when i remove some of the upper bar.

What kind of T28 do you have that slams place the turbo that clost to the radiator. I have a GT35R with a .70 A/R and I still have room to put my slim fans in place and the GT35R is much bigger than the T2 anything, so what gives. Are you using twin T28s...lol :chuckle:

I'll bet it's the exhaust manifolds. Aren't you running a custom tubular manifold Dee?

I do have a custom manifold, but the pulsar's have more space than the B12 sentra does. I mean, the sentra a crap for space, so my manifold had to be made with the bigger turbos I use. But in Liquid's case, maybe he's using the RWD manifold which will indeed throw-off the turbo placement for the fwd applications. I use to run a T3/T04B oon a flange welded to the stock AWD CA18DET manifold and it fit pretty good with the slim fans.

I could take the one off the red Pulsar I just picked up. I doubt I'll ever need it, and even if I do I know right where there's two more N13s in good shape near me. I take it you just need the center support that goes to the latch? You don't need the actual latch or anything do you? (I get the feeling I should make a part out thread for this N13 before it goes to scrap :chuckle: )

Never saw how the RWD manifold places the turbo on a FWD application. The KN13 pulsars have more frontal space than the B12 sentras, so that's where my comment comes from. An AWD/FWD manifold will give you better placement, but if you've gone this long with that platform, just go with what's available because those AWD/FWD manifolds are rare; very rare ;) .

mdb, thats exactly what i need, the latch support! My latch works fine, doesn't always shut though because it can flex... (gee i wonder why) Maybe i could take a few other bits off your hands, but the latch support is what i really need.
I wouldn't mind a new steering column cover, but it isnt super important. I just wanna redo my gauge setup with some fiberglass or somthing this summer.
shoot me a PM and we'll work it out.

Dee, funny guy :P teasing me with 'very rare' while u prolly have 5 :D Back when i bought this thing I wish i knew there was an fwd/awd setup, but i've been using the rwd manifold for years now, oh well.

Least now you all see my fancy turbo setup now, with that pretty T28. Pretty sure that is a disco, BB garret makes it a potato, right? Don't expect many underneath shot... im embarrassed about my leaky oil pan (damn rtv!!!).

No Man, the AWD manifold is rare indeed. Back when I sent you that engine, I didn't have any. At the moment, I only have one and that's because it came with campground man's CA powered sentra. After opening up that knocking CA, I found out why it was knocking. Word to the wise, mixing and matching parts on the DET from the USDM CA18DE is a no-no :nono:

I have DE pistons (well forged copies anyway) in a DET block as well. Nothing E85 and a standalone won't cure, LOL.

Look like they welded a bung onto the oil pan of a USDM CA18DE and used the oil tube from the USDM pulsar and the engine seemed to have starved for oil due to pick-up placement. And the capacity of the DE's oil pan is less than that of the DET which all played a part in starvation. Also had some trash in there as well. Block is good, crank will go the machine shop.

They are trying to rip you a new doo-doo hole :boink:. You should be able to find one cheaper than that and if not, I'll give you one of mine for some lunch money and you pay for shipping (still less than $100).

If you're going with an OEM radiator, just run a search on Spectra radiators. I got mine for $130 shipped or something brand new and it was actually the correct radiator, go figure.
You could try to JBWeld your current radiator if you're in a pinch. I've done that before when I punched a hole through one of the bars and the JBWeld did a great job of fixing the hole.

Also, I don't have many spare parts anymore, because I just chucked nearly everything to clear up room in the garage. The swap is done and now it's on the debugging mode. If I were you, I'd just grab some flat stock from the hardware store, bend it up and bolt it to where the old support used to go.

Since we have all the Pulsar guys here in one place, I'm going to be placing an order for parts from a guy I know in Minnesota who's going to be scrapping a 1988. He's going to just charge me shipping for the parts so if you guys want anything, let me know. I'm going to be grabbing some interior trim panels that I broke during the swap. I already have the exterior side window trim pieces, the gauge cluster, and all of the turn signals, so don't ask for those :)

Neon, it looks like your PM's still aren't on. I got the one you sent me, but I can't reply to you.

Anyways, sorry for the late response. I haven't been able to get to the post office yet, but what else are you looking for other than the support bar and the steering column cover?

Btw, the steering cover I may or may not be able to part with. I gutted my silver Pulsar, and I should have all the interior for it. When my gold one got wrecked I found it simpler to pull everything from it and swap it directly over to the silver. The cover in the gold car was broken and I have yet to check for the original one from the car. If I have it then you can get the one from my red car, but I have to make sure I have an extra one first.
