Hi... I am new to 240's and I am getting ready to doan sr20 swap into my car. As i was browsing the internet looking for different shops that sold them, the Pulsar GTi-R SR20DET caught myeye.

What exactly is the difference between the puslar SR and the S13and are they interchangeable?

one is FWD and one is RWD. the RWD one has a crank angle sensor and separate coils, the FWD one has a distributor and leads. The RWD one has a T25 turbo and smaller injectors than the pulsar's FWD sr20det. Different manifolds that wont work if swapped. The pulsar's sr20det has individual throttle bodies and the S13 RWD sr20 has a single one... Need to know anymore? Interchanging them using a rear wheel drive gear box will be very difficult cause of the ITB's and manifold designs...

It also doesnt bolt in because the engine mounts are in entirely different places.

Welcome to NICO, you can adapt a GTiR intake manifold to the RWD SR's if you were looking to get it because of the ITB's.

Is there an advatage to uisng ITB's and Intake from the GTiR or is it better to stick with the RWD SR20 setup?
