I just my new pulleys and belts from Joe (the man!) and I was wondering if its better to go from the top or underneith the car? All I have is ramps so that might not be enough room to work, but if I go from the top I have to dissamble the whole fan and shroud.

SO what do you guys recomend? Any shortcuts?

I am also taking it to the dealer what else should i have them do besides run all the consult diagnostics?

I would go from the bottom, though I have it a tad easier without having an undercover. The tensioners are best tightened from below. The shroud will probably have to come off regardless, though not sure about the fan.

Go from the bottom -- very easy access. The PS tensioner bolt is easier to loosen from top-side, however the tensioner adjustment bolt is easiest to reach from the bottom with an extension. You can jack the car up slightly to get enough room. No need to remove the fan shroud.

Be sure you set the tension correctly at 10Kg and 0.31" deflection with new belts .Check all 3 idler pullies for noise and rough operation.

At 152K and as much racket comes from the car I just went ahead and got all 3 pulleys and belts might as well only do it once and be good for a while :D

I think they were about 150 for all the pulleys and belts. I was really easy it took me longer to change my oil!
