Awesome! Looks like it's fairly healthy. Have you had time to take it to the track yet and see what e.t this setup gives you?

Awesome time!

I couldn't help but notice that after looking at the pics you have on your CarDomain your chassis looks alittle bent.

Yep...looked like some clutch toasting to me, too, Klattr.

Nice vid, good pull for 6psi.

Wow. How IS the xs turbo and manifold holding out? I plan to go a similar route as long as I weld the flange further away from the BMC and reinforce the damn thing. Also, where did you mount the XS BOV and MAF for the SAFC, how is it running?

6 1/2 months no issues.

about the clutch i thought it was that also. but i just installed an ACT Xtream racing disk about 3 months ago. its deff the leak. when im out drifting around it bits hard and holds up to all the clutch kicking and i can drive it home with no issues.

dude when i got to the track the first time, the clutch was not ready and i slipped all the way down running an f-ing 17. so pisssed, and then 2 weeks later I ran again and turned the 13.7

oh yea that bend is the strut tower, im resetting that this coming week

Your time sounds right, just the video of the tach I don't think is right... Just go to the track again and when you cross the line look at your speed and see what the time slip says...

Those are awesome numbers, but for your own safety I would suggest you consider dropping your motor and setup into another chassis.

what i find odd is that it pulls past 5800 rpm most stock ka's without cams stop pulling about there with stock intake manifolds...

There's a lot to be said for 60' times, Florida240sx. If your 60' is low, your ET is low.

I'm just going by watching the video...he is going from 0-105 in 10seconds... But he runs a 13.5second at 105.... Not calling BS on his times or et. *I'M* thinking clutch slippage on the video of the tach..Fix the boost leak and then do another session, if it was the issue then there shouldn't be any jumpiness....

its cant be the clutch, it grabs well.... it would def slip at low-mid rpms also. and like i said i can go out drifting and clutch kick it alll day and drive home with no issues. i installed the clutch ( act xtream racing clutch) with an brandnew lighten flywheel( 11lbs XTD ) at the same time.

i have all the slips from that night if you would like to see em

i ran the 13.7 when it was warm out

and then an 14.1 and 14.0 ( cold out and not able to adjust my fuel, no wideband for accurate adjustment)

when i ran the 14.0 i got an trap speed of 105 i cant explain that lol

My friends clutch grabs well too and then slips at higher rpms...I'm done arguing with you #1 it's not my car so I'm goign by what I see and read, I'm not there to experience it. #2 the is another issue at hand that you know of, until it's fixed it's pointless the continue. Being you have a leak at the mani your boost gauge reading could be off and your running more psi than you know of??? Too many variables.......

not arguing dude. just here to have an 240 good time

update.

i took the car out for an long drive today to pick up parts i needed to fix my issues and it turns out that the clutch is acting up. after about an hour of driving things heated up and i began to slip at low-mid rpms a bit.
