Hey guys as the title states could i pull it out without using a engine lift? Like can i just take it apart piece by piece? If i can would anything drop out of the top end from the bottom when i lift it off the block?

have you ever bent over to pick up a 2 1/2ft by 1ft by 1 1/2 ft chunk of iron?

if you have alot of strength and no fear of back problems, go for it.seriously tho, use a lift. easier, safer, plus, dismantling it then putting it all back together just isnt worth it.

Yeah, even the block in it's bare form would be pretty heavy, plus your talking about having bend over the fenders or stand in the engine bay and try to move that thing whereas either way you would have little to no leverage..

If you've got a decent sized tree that runs horizontal just grab a come-along and some chains and presto!!

Definitely try to get a lift, find a friend of a buddy and borrow one, or hell see if you can't rent one, I'm sure some place does it.

No is the answer to your question. You could drop the subframe+ engine, but you need a lift to do that.
