Whats up Nico, I just pulled the motor out of my 91 hatch. After it was out, I was cleaning up the bay. And the driver side mount was broke in half. I cant seem to find where it bolts to. Or do I have to drop the crossmember? Someone help, I need this motor back in asap. Thanks

Sigh.

1 bolt from the bottom. 1 bolt from the top. If it broke you need a new one. Crossmember doesn't have to come out. You'll need an impact gun, at least I did when mine broke, otherwise they twist too much.

yea when i pulled the ka mounts they are bolted to the x member. no reason to drop the member unless you f***in rounded the head or broke a bolt then its drill and sawzall time

No need to "sigh" cheif, I Have pulled many motors out of 95's a couple 96's and a 97.And they all were real easy to get to. Maybe Im being a retard, but I can't find the lower nut on this 91. If I cant find it tom, I will post pics.

I broke my driver's side mount when i was pulling the sohc out of the 89. Just like everyone said, one nut on top and one on the bottom. The driver's side is harder to get to than the passengers because of the PS lines iirc. They should be 14mm nuts.

Thanks to all, I must have just been out of it at the end of the day yesterday. I looked today, and saw its the same as the s14's. Sorry to post and mods can lock.
