Pulling codes of a nissan maxima_run rough first minite when cold?

What are the procedures for pulling codes off a Nissan maxima?

It is a v6 3.0 2002 model.

The car has a erratic idle right after startup when cold. Then it smooths out.

From my resurch, A dirty MAF sensor, the gaskets that bridge the aluminum to plastic intake gaskets can create a vacume leak when cold, then expand to seal up when warm or, a sticking IAC can cause this. Anything else?
