You're almost there Rob. The screw is on the backside of the ECU so you'll need to remove it. The connector will have to come off first. It's a tight fit in the footwell and the ECU doesn't come out as you see it now. Pull down the panel under the glovebox for easier access to the top screw in the ECU bracket and even leave the top screw out when you put everything back together.

One thing to be careful with when removing the ECU is to make sure the connector stays parallel to the ECU body as you're tightening/loosening the 10mm bolt that holds it in place. Don't let it get sideways lest it cracks in two pieces (it's happened to others). Wiggle the connector to keep it coming out/going in straight to avoid a bad connection or bending pins on the ECU. This is all easy stuff but you will have sore ribs at the end of the day from laying on the door jamb.

Good luck.

Because EVERY NISSAN, INFINITI, and specialty shop had Consults to read codes without disturbing ecu.

This blinking light method was for those too poor to purchase the correct test equipment.
