So I expect my guide parts from Joe @ Infinity of Scottsdale early next week, and trans back from Mazworx next week too, so now is time to pull Balancer. Who has had what luck taking it off how. I plan on a straight puller trough the balancing weights threads to pull on, and putting flexplate back on and using a couple of bars through it to limit it(works on other engines great) but know that this sucker can be up to 275Lbs and I see that my seals are factory, so I am opening her up for the first time. Smell should be worse then my first ****. Thanx for input, and horror stories.

I used two long metric bolts in the holes between the weights along with a snap-on puller. Worked like a charm.

My advice, remove the crank pulley bolt, remove the washer, then put the bolt back in without the washer. The bolt head is small enough that you can pull the pulley right over it. Plus, the bolt head has that nice tapered seat in the center for your puller to push against. Nissan really engineered it very well from a maintenance perspective.

I just got around to taking mine off... I used two pullers... 1 Matco puller with the 3 screw setup... had to use the long bronze screws from the accessory pulley tensioners. They thread right into the balancer and were long enough to reach through the puller. I had to put some strong washers behind them so they didnt go through the puller. I spreyed the shaft hole down with a bit of WD40 then let it sit for a night, set everything up the next afternoon and it took a few minutes by hand to take off. BTW DONT LOSE THE CRANK KEY!

But if you have some low profile jaws you can get in there and pull it with them.
