I was remembering the belt setup for my KA24E when i took out the A/C, P/S i just ran one belt for the Alternator and Water pump to the crank but my KA24DE to run the water pump u must Keep the P/S on wanted to know if i can use the KA24E Crank Pulley on My Ka24DE to run only one belt which would make my life a lot eaisier and the engine compartment a bit more cleaner. Lookin to buy aluminum Crank pulley so lemme know if i should go ahead with the 89-90 crank pulley!!

It wont work, they are different part numbers for a reason.

This is just another reason why E > DE.: )

Im not sure which belts go to what on the DE.

If the alternator and water pump are on the same belt as the P/S, maybe you could run a shorter belt and get rid of the P/S.

Im not sure if thats entirely possible, or what the negative effects would be.

Na the crank runs the Alternator buy itself then runs a belt to water pump and P/S im train to figure out a way to take the p/s off which means i would either need a belt that only fits to the water pump (cant see this happenning because no tensioner or i can find a way to run the alternato and water pump on one belt anyone ever done this??
