Pulled my 'y' pipe and got pulled by the cops <Daunttless>
Well since I was bored and had nothing to do at 2am I went out in the rain and pulled my my intake apart (see Daunts air box 101 post). The car does sound a little more ligit without it and it only took a minute to pull the 'y' pipe. Then on Saturday I was leaving work and as I pulled out at the stoplight I punched it and hung the tail out (there is construction on the street and so lot's of mud, dirt and dust) Nothing serious, no squeeling tires, just a little tail wagging:D. After that I then proceded down the street like a normal person doing 58km/h in a 50km/h. A police cuiser that was going in the opposite direction saw me having fun and I guess decided to hassle me. I knew the s*** was hittin when they whipped the cruiser around at the light and floored it.....they were sliding around more than I was. Turns out they thought I was runing illegal mods...hahaha which is funny 'cus I'm sooo slow. but they did the check and all is stock so they ****ed off after making me sit for like 15 minutes....same old **** as usual.
Well as it stands right now Toronto is per capita the biggest street racing city in North America. I was reading in the paper how a bunch of major police forces in the US were watching how Metro, York and Peel police were dealing with it because were such a hot bed of activity. So, naturally cops are on the lookout for racers.
