Finally got around to converting my Pull-Type clutch RB25DET transmission to Push-Type.There has been some mention of other people doing it but I have not seen any major reference to parts used or what was involved. So I just did some experimenting. Right click on the link below and save the PDF file.http://www.fairladyzg.com/PDF/PullToPushConv.pdf

This is my first attempt using Adobe Acrobat to create a how-to guide. Please let me know if it needs more detail or ? Thanks.

nice writeup, i did this conversion a little differently.

the rb25det push front cover can be bought from oem nissan japan for ~$35-40, just gotta wait for it to come in.

the 2 slave holes i drilled and tapped by hand, dont need to go to a machine shop.

the front cover gasket can be reused, its metal.. i didnt have a problem.

you didn't add slave cylinder to the price? not sure if they are different or the same, but i bought one b/c mine didnt come with one.

Sourcing the original oem cover turned out to be a major run around.

I did not need to buy new parts but figured why not buy new as long as it's apart and the oem Nissan prices were not that bad.

The machine shop doing all my motor work had a nice setup for drilling everything out. With as hard and as expensive as these transmission's are, I did not want to take a chance of boogering it up!
