Hi, can anyone please help me to determine what's needed to be done for my 2011 Rogue SLAWD. I hit a puddle on the interstate this morning and then heard a dragging sound afterwards. When I stopped bottom guard was dragging on ground so I bent it back the other way so its not hitting ground but its still hanging down. It located on bottom of car on passenger side just in front of back wheel and is about 2 feet long and 1/2 foot wide. It is still connected towards the edge of the car and can disconnected at the middle of the car. Is it ok to just remove this piece if I don't plan on skidding on anything?

you can remove it. it doesnt really do much other than stop sand & water from splashing upwards. that area is all waterproof anyway. you can grab a ziptie and secure it that way. i always used zipties instead of the cheap plastic push-pins.

i believe these are the clips you need: http://amzn.to/2lYYcYp
