Shruggin my shoulders over here, what kind of speakers. What kind of box. Are the speakers worth more. I would say why the hell not do it. Get rid of excess weight, and gain lsd. I would say Go for it. Why even ask. Although, you have to figure it out for yourself. Weigh the options.

Would you rather have a bump bump in the trunk or you want to spin both wheels. To me its a no brainer, get rid of speakers, then you get rid of excess weight. Hell, systems are boring to me. Unnessesary too.

Search pal. There are way to many threads about this already. You can buy the axles from any auto parts store, or used or otherwise. Do some looking around and figure it out.

for my s13 I needed j30 axles. since the 240sx have the 3 pairs of 2 bolts and the 300zx diff has 5 bolt star pattern. not only that, the 300zx axles are too long. I have yet to install my setup, cleaning and shimming my diff and waiting for time to be available for me to do it.
