I'm upgrading my PTU from the old style to the new style, my mechanic told me it doesn't fit... are they not interchangeable?

The look different but mount in the same location without issue.

I'm upgrading my PTU from the old style to the new style, my mechanic told me it doesn't fit... are they not interchangeable?

There is an updated bracket required to make the new style attach correctly to the stock location on the timing covers. There is also an additional harness required as the connectors are different from the recalled style to the new style.

is 75$US a good price for teh harness?

Sorry, my bad...I thought your mechanic was saying there wasn't space for it to fit. Yes, you do need the parts as the other post says
