Pseudo-Shift Kit Question

Hello, I just did the Pseudo-Shift Kit on my car and it made and amazeing difference. It allowed my car to actually burn out and took 4 seconds off its 0-60 time. The thing that thrilled me the most was that if made my overdrive start working agian. Then the darndest thing happend, I went out and drove it about 2 hours ago and it feels just like it did before I unplugged the wire. And worst of all the Over drive stoped working again. Any ideas?

4 seconds off 0 - 60? Thats alot man, what 0-60 were you running? what 0-60 are u running now?

11 seconds from around 15-16.

oh but for some reason it went back to normal and is around the 15 second 0-60 again even with the mod.

pseudo shift kit?15s 0-60? Are you sure you're driving a 240sx?

haha 15-16 seconds is what you should be running in the quarter mile.

yes, for some reason the car is being a slug right now. Goes fast after 25mph and when in that small period of time when the overdrive was working for me the thing would hit 115 no problem fairly fast in my opinion. From what it sounds like my car is not running at top performance, so do any of you have any suggestions on what I should look into on the car?

can't think of anything other than the usual tuneup things. I know very little about the things that would be specific to an auto (I'm guessing your car isn't MT).

Check plugs, wires, fuel filter, o2 sensor, vacuum leaks(?), I'm sure others will add to this list. As far as getting your transmission stuff sorted out, I have no idea

Are you sure the transmission isn't in safe mode? It sounds almost like you are stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear or something.

might be, what is safe mode? never heard of it before. I was also thinking it could be a fuse or relay. Is the automatic transmission or at least its overdrive unit controlled by a fuse or relay, and if so where can I find it.
